Wright County Egg Recalls Eggs Due to Salmonella

Galt, Iowa-based Wright County Egg has issued a voluntary recall of specific Julian dates of shell eggs produced by the farm.

The eggs have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Eggs affected by the recall were distributed to food wholesalers, distribution centers and foodservice companies in California, Illinois, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa, which distribute nationwide.

There have been confirmed Salmonella illnesses relating to the recalled eggs; traceback investigations are ongoing.
