A third lawsuit has been filed in connection with an outbreak of food borne illness linked to a Lombard, Illinois Subway restaurant.
Current lab results confirm 50 cases of shigellosis, an infectious disease caused by Shigella bacteria.
Ten people have been hospitalized, treated and released.
The restaurant remains closed during the investigation.
