JBS-Swift Beef Co. is expanding its recall of beef products after 18 reports of E. coli poisoning were linked to its call-back on June 24.
The most recent announcement involves about 380,000 pounds of beef products. The announcement a week ago included about 41,000 pounds of beef.
The recalled beef from both announcements were produced on April 21. JBS Swift products are available nationwide. Many of the products are steaks and roasts rather than ground beef products.
