H-E-B expands recall on French Onion Dip due to Salmonella contamination

Food maker H-E-B is expanding a recall on its French Onion Dip because it may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Last week, the company announced it was recalling products with a Date Code of 4/15/2010 and 4/20/2010. Now, it has added the Date Codes of 4/23/2010 and 4/24/2010.

The H-E-B French Onion Dip is sold in 8-, 16- and 24-ounce sizes. The company said no illnesses have be been linked to this product and the recall only includes the French Onion flavored dip.
