General Mills announces recall of Nut Lovers Nut Clusters

General Mills has announced a voluntary recall on certain quantities of its Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters containing pecans because it could be contaminated with salmonella.

No illnesses have been linked to this potential contamination. General Mills said in a news release that its pecan supplier shipped tainted products and they made their way into its Nut Clusters product.

Nature Valley Granola Bars are not included in the recall announcement. The affected products are sold in a stand-up bag and feature clusters of nuts and granola in bite-size pieces.

The recall affects only the following Best if Used By dates, all printed on the bag:
