Norovirus Determined Cause of Illness at Orlando Nursing Home

The Orange County Health Department has said it was a norovirus that sickened 16 residents of an Orlando assisted living center.

16 people at Emeritus at Crossing Pointe in Orlando, Florida fell ill and some were hospitalized.

One floor of the facility was closed for several days so it could be cleaned and sanitized.

The facility is fully open again and the state has not decided whether or not it will conduct a follow-up inspection.
