Alaska Sausage Company, Inc., an Anchorage, Alaska, firm, is recalling approximately 872 pounds of sausage products that may be contaminated with listeria.
The recall involves 3-pound packages of “Alaskan Sausage Links with Reindeer Meat” and 1- and 3-pound packages of “German Brand Cooked Bratwurst.”
The sausage products were produced on Jan. 27, 2009 and distributed to institutions and retail establishments in Alaska.
The Food Safety and Inspection Service has received no reports of illnesses associated with consumption of this product.
