United Pet Group Recalls Pet Vitamin Supplements

Cincinnati, Ohio-based United Pet Group has expanded its voluntary recall of Pro-Pet Adult Daily Vitamin Supplement tablets for dogs.

The recall now includes additional pet nutritional supplement products for dogs and cats that may have been contaminated with Salmonella.

Infected but otherwise healthy pets can be carriers of Salmonella and infect other animals and humans.

The recalled products are sold nationally at various retailers and are available in tablet and powder form.
