Miravelle Foods Recalls Chile Peppers Due to Potential Salmonella Contamination

South El Monte, California-based Miravelle Foods Inc has issued a voluntary recall of 37,318 pounds of “Miravalle Chile California & Miravalle Chile Nuevo Mexico” brand peppers.

The chile peppers may have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

The peppers were distributed to a small group of customers through direct delivery, distributors and retail stores in CA, CO, UT, NC, NE, ID, OR and NV.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
